Cropping and Docking Policy

We work with the specifications  of our adoptees, therefore, cropping is only available when the puppies are still with us for an extension, starting at 10 weeks only, for an additional charge of $550.00. We do not crop otherwise, within the 8-10 week adoption window. That will be the new owner's choice and responsibility.

Adoptees wanting natural tails, (that are undocked), will need to be arranged prior to puppies being born, as tail docking needs to happen at 2-3 days old only. Never re-dock, or dock a puppy's tail at eight weeks or older. And never an adult. That would require skilled amputation surgery.

Ear cropping occurs between 10 to 12 weeks for easier healing and a better chance of the ears standing properly as the puppy grows. The older the puppy, the shorter the crop. Ear posting and care will be the responsibility of the adoptee. Post up the crops from about 4-8 months of age, depending on how well the ears are standing.
